Red-Hull-InsideTRAVERSE CITY, MI -Global Marine Insurance announced today that the company’s new office at 1530 Westlake Ave. N., Suite 114, Seattle, WA is open to serve commercial and recreational boaters on the West Coast. The Michigan-based company has recruited Gregg Reynolds to offer clients local expertise in the Pacific Northwest and establish local industry leadership. Commercial Account Executive, Ron brings years of personal boating experience and professional boat insurance expertise to tailor comprehensive insurance coverage for all our clients. “Global Marine is committed to offering the knowledgeable customer service Global Marine Insurance’s clients have come to expect.” “Opening a Pacific Northwest office clearly illustrates how important participating in the local community is to Global Marine Insurance,” says Gregg. “Our new office on Lake Union is in the heart of the Northwest’s business district. It offers increased visibility for Global Marine Insurance but, more importantly, easy access for commercial and recreational boaters as well as yacht enthusiasts.” Prior to joining Global Marine Insurance, Gregg worked for 30 years in the insurance industry. He is a lifelong competitive sailor born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Not only has Gregg competed in countless regattas, four Hawaii races and other major events, but he is the creator and chairman of the Tacoma Yachtoberfest festival. He currently serves as President of the Tacoma Waterfront Association, is an active member on the government affairs committee of the Northwest Marine Trade Association, and is Chairman of the T Town Sailing Championship. Global Marine Insurance was founded in Michigan in 1989 and has grown steadily, providing Personal Marine Insurance to boat and yacht owners. In more recent years, the company has offered Commercial Marine Insurance to boat dealers, manufacturers, boat yards, marinas, watersport schools, yacht clubs and other marine-related businesses. A Global Recreational Division was launched earlier this year that provides recreational insurance coverage for motorhomes, motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and more. Most recently, the company announced the launch of a new Private Risk business based in Traverse City, MI. The company currently employs more than 30 specialists across the US with remote offices in Florida, North Carolina, Washington and Texas.
