MDCEAs a marine business insurance specialist, Global Marine Insurance is proud to support the 2014 Marine Dealer and Conference Expo.

This Marine Retailers Association of the Americas event is an important annual conference designed to help marine retailers maximize their potential. With a focus on improving profitability by strengthening business practices, MDCE is definitely worth considering attending if you work in this industry.

From November 16 to 19, professionals from all over came to Orlando, FL to benefit from the largest schedule of educational sessions ever offered at MDCE. The 30 sessions covered a variety of topics intended to help marine retailers find opportunities to improve anything from customer care and service departments to leadership and marketing.

We want to thank everyone who stopped by to see us at the booth we hosted for our marine business insurance. It was important to us to participate in this year’s MDCE as we recognize how vital it is for success building in the marine dealer community.

Our knowledgeable marine business insurance team is always happy to share information and field questions about our comprehensive coverage. We are honored we were among the industry’s leading dealers and experts that attend the conference, which boasts more than 100,000 square feet of exhibitor space.

If you didn’t attend this year or haven’t yet participated in MDCE, we highly recommend it for networking and professional development for business leaders. In addition to earning Marine Industry Certified Dealer education credits, attendees can take advantage of three networking receptions.

Global Marine Insurance was founded in Michigan in 1989 and has grown steadily, providing Personal Marine Insurance to boat and yacht owners. In more recent years, the company has offered its service to boat dealers, manufacturers, boat yards, marinas, watersport schools, yacht clubs, and other marine-related businesses.

A Global Recreational Division was launched earlier this year that provides recreational insurance coverage for motorhomes, motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and more. We are celebrating 25 years of expertise to the marine industry!
