If you’re as excited about this year’s boat shows as our marine insurance professionals are, it’s time to start booking time off (if you haven’t already!).

Boat show season is here, which means we’re also much closer to boating season here in the US. Even if you can’t attend in person, you can check out their websites and press coverage to catch up on the latest innovations and most popular new launches.

Here’s the scoop on three of the world’s most famous yacht and boat shows, plus a bonus mention for a show intended for marine industry professionals:

Dubai International Boat Show

United Arab Emirates: Head to the Dubai International Boat Show from March 1-5, 2023. The largest boat show in the Middle East boasts more than 400 yachts, boats, watercraft, and marine vendors from more than 50 countries.

United States: One of the most famous American boat shows is the Palm Beach International Boat Show, which runs from March 23 to 26, 2023. Expect to find an inventory of yachts (and superyachts) and related accessories worth more than $1.2 billion at this West Palm Beach favorite. And if you ask our marine insurance specialists, it’s wise to buy the two-day admission rather than the one-day because there’s just so much to see.

Mediterranean: Is there a boat show with a more beautiful setting than the Mediterranean Yacht Show in Nafplion, Greece? This luxury event is in its eighth season and runs from April 29 to May 3, 2023. It features more than 90 crewed yachts, plus exhibitors and brokers from more than 30 countries.

Turkey: If you work in the yachting industry, the TYBA Yacht Charter Show is the place to be. Billed as a trade-only yacht show, the TYBA brings brokers and industry experts together to network and enjoy learning about the latest superyachts and cruising in this region. TYBA is held on the Turkish Riviera at the stunning D Marin Gocek Marina.

If you go to any of this year’s yacht or boat shows and consider investing in a new vessel, it’s quick and easy to explore your yacht insurance coverage options.
