Global Marine Insurance : Hurricane Irene Hits The East Coast

Hurricane Irene ended up traveling along quite a different path than what was originally expected this past week, surprising many residents of the East Coast. Below you can see Irene as it heads toward Florida but changes direction traveling north.

Even though the hurricane warning was downgraded to a tropical storm, the storm caused serious damage and widespread flooding in many areas.
