Personal Watercrafts (PWC)
A personal watercraft is a recreational watercraft that the rider sits or stands on, rather than inside of, as with a boat. Most PWCs are designed for one to three people and feature an inboard engine driving a pump jet for thrust propulsion and steering. They are often referred by the names jet ski or wave runner. Global Marine offers an extensive array of personal watercraft insurance policy and coverage options.
Beach Catamarans
The term “catamaran” refers to a multi-hulled boat or ship consisting of two hulls, joined together by a frame. Beach catamarans, as the name implies, are typically designed to be launched and landed from a beach. They come to rest on their keels without heeling over like a mono-hull.
Dinghy Boats
Dinghies are usually less than 10 feet in length, easy to transport on top of a car, and light enough to carry onboard larger vessels. These boats are great for use just off the beach or around the harbor. Dinghies are typically manpowered, rigged with a sail, or have a small outboard motor.
