“I speak with existing customers and assist them with changes or questions on their policies,” explains Renee. “Coming from a service agency background, where the main focus was on service, not sales, I pride myself on providing excellent customer care with speed and efficiency.”

 

Prior to joining Global Marine Insurance, Renee worked at a local insurance agency, dealing primarily with auto and home policies. The Traverse City native, who currently resides in Interlochen, MI, grew up around boats and spent every summer on the water in some way. These days Renee, her partner Shane, and their dog Harmony spend their free time kayaking with her sister and nephews and enjoying lakes, rivers, and bays with family and friends.

She has provided such efficient service for us whenever we have had to get an additional rider for our marine insurance to travel further afield. And most recently when we were at a yacht club in Nanaimo, BC that now requires 1 million in liability coverage Renee returned my phone call within an hour late on Friday afternoon and assured us that she would immediately fax a temporary binder to the yacht club.
